We are blessed to come out unscathed but many of my family, friends and neighbors were not so lucky. A couple homes on our block sustained roof damage. We had one tree fall on Mr. Kennedy's bedroom window. My parent's neighborhood had lots of fallen pine trees & roof damage. My Grandparents live in Baytown and had a huge oak fall on the house.
We drove around Saturday morning to get a couple supplies there were lines for almost everything it was unlike anything I have ever seen. The kids were amazed. I went into work Monday morning and it was like driving through a war zone. I guess the other day we drove around we didn't go too far. If you have never been to Houston let me tell you we measure distance by length of driving time not actual distance. LOL
