I have been "awoll" due to this
Yup 8th day of Kindergarten and our little Lady took a spill during recess. As it is recalled she went into the nurse's office received some ice went back to class. During story time she sat with her ice and it was apparent by the look on her face she was in pain. Mrs. Powers said it wasn't until after the story was over that she came over to leaned her head on her and said "it hurts really bad." She was sent again to the nurse and her Daddy came to pick her up.
She was given Motrin, noshed on snacks, watched t.v., and seemed pretty content. It wasn't until 3pm when she came down with serious pain. I few days ago I received a letter from our insurance company indicating the hospitals that accepted our insurance. Cy-Fair Medical emergency room was one of the clinics that was suggested. Our experience there was absolutely horrible. The staff was downright terrible!!! To all my Cypress peeps don't take your kids there. I am writing a letter to the administration & cc'ing the insurance company about our experience today.
Thank God for Redemption!!!
Thanks to my cousin Amelia for referring us to Dr. Nelson Davino in Richmond, TX
The drive was well worth it. The staff was extremely gentle and caring they quickly put our apprehensive little girl at ease. Dr. Davino was by far one of the very best Drs we have seen
He took one look and knew exactly where the break was. It was misdiagnosed at the Cy-Fair hospital. No surprise there. She received a custom pink and purple cast by Orlando. I am working on little sleep so hopefully most of this is coherent. If you have any cast tips and tricks please let me know they told me about putting cling wrap on it and wrapping it in plastic it will be a miracle if we make it through the next 4 weeks without getting it wet.

Poor little peanut! Kaitlyn's experience was similar at pre-school. Except she only tripped and fell in the MULCH(not a fall from up high). They also gave her some ice and sent her home(but didn't even fill out an accident report or tell me about it--I had to call them that afternoon). She was in increasing pain that night, doctor's visit the next morning, x-rays later, cast the following day. NO FUN! Glad to hear you got your little miss treated with a good doctor! :)
