Allyssa began the day by being rushed into surgery at 5:00 am because she was losing too much blood. The doctors opened her back up and found some bleeders and corrected the problem. The doctors called mom and dad to the hospital to discuss their concerns about Allyssa. Besides the bleeding she has a blood clot in her left arm/shoulder area that has caused a lot of swelling in her left hand. Also, her kidneys and liver are still not functioning very well. They put her on a dialysis machine to get some of the fluid out of her. This has helped with relieving some work for the heart. The doctors decided to put her back into surgery this afternoon around 3:30 pm. They are going to remove the defibrillator to try to help with the clot in this area. Also, they are going to open up her hand to drain it down until they can get the clot to dissolve.
Allyssa and the doctors are fighting a lot of issues right now which is making her situation very critical. We are hoping she starts to win a few of the battles she is facing soon.She should be out of the surgery around 6:30 pm. Everyone please hope and pray for the best results.
